For many years, while walking through the woods on hiking trails I have taken photographs of what captivates me. Most of my images have been collected in Maine, Prospect Park, Brooklyn, Central Park, N. Y. and Upstate N.Y. Tree trunks create sections framing color and shadow, worlds between trees. I am happiest when I am walking in these places and when I am making marks. Drawing, especially, grounds me in the present. In the past I also worked with still life, mostly of found natural objects, like shells. I started this site in 2023. This site is a collection of selected works from the present reaching back to my earlier work and to which I will continue to add as more is created. I do not always know the dates of the earlier works but I put them in approximate chronological order.

This site is under construction.
